On the 23rd of February 2019, the LEO Club of Wesley Methodist School held its annual Urban Escape from 7.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. The theme for the event was “Operation Chroma”, which was inspired by our storyline. This event was led by the Organising Chairperson, LEO Woong Jia Hui, who was assisted by the Assistant Organising Chairperson, LEO Koh Yeu Leh and LEO Chen Jac Kern, together with committee members LEO Tan Khai Jeat, LEO Yong Jo Yi, LEO Chau Hui Qing and LEO Bryan Yuen Qi Wen.

their flag off.
In summary, the storyline for this event signifies the participants undergoing an important mission to retrieve the core of a powerful glass prism, which is the sole source of colours for the world. The prime objective of this mission is to prevent the core from falling into the wrong hands and to restore humanity of its original colours before the time runs out. Participants were required to travel around Kuala Lumpur in groups of three by public transport, namely the Rapid KL Sri Petaling line LRT, Sungai Buloh - Kajang line MRT and KL Monorail line to play various games and hunt for clues to solve the mystery. The group that obtained the most points, while solving the mystery in the shortest
time period will emerge as the winner of this event.

Our participants are ready and excited!

Solve the route!
The first station for the event was in school, where participants had to complete ten challenging objective questions pasted around the school compound. They also had to figure out the route for the event using the key words in the questions. After figuring out the route, the participants proceeded to Titiwangsa and then to Bukit Nanas for the second game. There, participants had to complete tasks such as spotting the difference, guessing the numeric lock code and sudoku.

and location of the photo. This was
followed by an origami game in Pasar

Merdeka station.
After that, the participants took the MRT to the
Merdeka station and played a dance video game,   where they had to follow along to their assigned   TikTok dance moves. In Sunway Putra Mall,   participants had to guess the store’s name using   the hints given in the question sheet and solve a   crossword puzzle. When the participants have   completed all the games and collected all the   clues, they returned to school, where they were   given a question sheet about the storyline of the   event. There, the participants had to piece together all their clues and solve the mystery.

After all the participants have arrived back in school and have submitted their question sheets, all the members of our club gathered for a group photo. In the end, the event was a successful one and managed to raise funds for the club to support future community service events and activities. This project also managed to encourage teamwork among the participants and to provide a chance for the participants to explore the city of Kuala Lumpur.

Our members had fun doing
 their duties!
A huge thank you to all the participants for taking part in the event, and to all the teachers who volunteered to help out in ensuring the discipline of the participants were maintained throughout the event. We would also like to thank the PBSM members for standing by in case of emergencies. We hope you had as much fun in playing the games as we had in planning them!

Thanks for joining!
