Mini Fun Fair 2023
On the 25th of November 2023, the LEO Club and International Club of Wesley Methodist School collaborated to organise a Mini Fun Fair, in conjunction with the Info Day of Wesley Methodist School Kuala Lumpur (Private). This event was led by the Organizing Chairperson, LEO Tan Kai Yang, the Funding Director, who was assisted by his Assisting Organising Chairpersons, LEO Triss Tan Sze Shan, who is also the Assistant Funding Director, and LEO Gwi Yan Xin, together with their committee members, LEO Tan Sze Xuan, LEO Coehn Yong Wai and LEO Yap Ru Wuay.
The event began at 8.00a.m, with game and food stations that had been set up the night before in the Basketball Court and Volleyball Court. Among the fun fair games available for participants to try were Plinko, Ring Toss, Bounce Bingo, Balloon Darts, Bull’s Eye, Knock Em’ Down, Don’t Buzz the Wire, Throw It Right, Basin Ball, Ping Pong Toss, Epic Shoot, Candy Guess and Fish the Duck. Participants who won tokens from the games could redeem them for a chance to play the spin wheel, where they could multiply their gains, albeit at a high risk of losing some tokens in the process. Those with a lower appetite for risk could also immediately redeem tokens at the prize redemption counter for items such as smartwatches, squash toys, basketballs, keyboards, game boards, and more at the prize booth.
The food stations in the Volleyball Court offered a wide variety of delicious food and drinks. Participants particularly enjoyed Boss BBQ Popcorn Chicken, prepared by our own LEO Faculty Advisor, Mr. Naresh, as well as chocolate marshmallows, Milo Ice, ice popsicles, instant noodles, popcorn packs, ice cream, brownies, chocolate cupcakes, cheese cakes, coconut shake drinks, soft drinks and Ribena
After an eventful day, the Fun Fair officially concluded at 1:00 p.m., after which LEO and International Club members cleaned up all the facilities used. Overall, this event managed to strengthen cooperation between LEO Club and International Club members and raise a sum of RM143.40, which will be donated to MAKNA in conjunction with our upcoming Cross Country event in 2024.
