Minor Community Service: Assembly Soup Kitchen
By 10:10 a.m., the groups began their community service by preparing the ingredients assigned by the organisation. The members of the vegetable group were tasked with selecting fresh leaves from the bundles and cutting tomatoes in half. Meanwhile, a group of four male members was assigned to clean and chop chickens into small pieces. In addition, members prepared soymilk desserts with jelly and packed over 300 servings. After the food preparation, all members assisted in packing the cooked meals into containers. By 1:20 p.m., after a busy morning, the LEO members were treated to lunch prepared by the organisation. Following the meal, the members cleaned up the soup kitchen and ensured everything was organised before heading home.
This Minor Community Service activity was a rewarding experience for the LEO members who volunteered, as it not only allowed them to develop valuable skills but also gave them the opportunity to contribute to global humanitarian efforts by preparing meals for those in need. Many photos were taken to commemorate the project, including several group pictures to mark the occasion.
