"Riang Ria Cheshire" Carnival

On the 18th of Novemeber, 2012, the Leo club of Wesley Methodist School lend a helping hand in a charity bazaar which was located in Cheshire Selangor. On approximately 7.45 a.m., the Leos assembled at the Sentul LRT station. From the LRT station, the Leos took a bus to Chesire Selangor which is located in Selayang. Upon reaching the bazaar are, they started their work immediately.

Many stands were set up such as game stations like darts and balloons, and even the “pin the tail on the donkey” game, alongside food stands that sold local favorites like nasi lemak, tose and fried noodles. Slowly, the bazaar took shape and in no time at all, people of all ages started swarming in, be it young children or elderly seniors.  The event was officially started at 10 o’ clock.

A dance crew also made an appearance to a series of master mixes. 


The other events took place such as the instant noodle eating contest, tug-of-war and such, all of which our Leos also took part in. Everyone had a joyous time.

As the evening descended, the Leos started cleaning up and prepared for departure home.

The charity bazaar was a huge success. The Leo Club of Wesley Methodist School look forward
to taking part in more activities such as this one.

Mock cheque presentation session. On the 24th of March 2018 (Saturday), the Leo Club of Wesley Methodist School held its annual charity event - which was Charity Night, from 7:30p.m. to 11:15 p.m. It was hosted at the Manhattan II ballroom in Berjaya Times Square Hotel, which had been rented prior to the event in order to serve as the main event area. The theme for this year's Charity Night was "Luminescence". The main purpose of the event was to raise funds to help the blind community, as all profits from this event were donated to various blind organisations and homes. The project also aspired to educate and raise awareness about blindness in our society today. The theme was chosen to enlighten the public on the challenges faced by the millions of blind people all over the world. 46th MD LEO Forum

We won some awards! Ten members from the LEO Club of Wesley Methodist School had attended the 46th MD LEO Forum from the 25th to the 27th of May 2018 at Trove Hotel, Johor Bahru. The theme for this year’s forum was “Joint, Humanity, Balance”, which aimed to encourage joint learning through experience, empower compassion for a better society and equality in the society by fulfilling our own voluntary services. Pyjamas Party. The forum began with an opening ceremony. Then, all LEOs were briefed about some home and safety rules. This was followed by an ice breaking session and cultural activity, where the LEOs were separated into groups of eight and each explored their creativity in decorating a batik cloth. At 7.00 p.m., all LEOs gathered back in the ballroom, dressed in their fanciest pyjamas for fellowship night, themed “Pyjamas Party”. Charity Night 2023: Hearts VS Spades

  On December 15, 2023, Friday, the LEO Club of Wesley Methodist School hosted its first Charity Night event in 5 years at HGH Convention Centre Sentul. The primary objective of this event was to raise funds for the community of people struggling with diabetes and to raise awareness about their challenges. Additionally, it aimed to instil a sense of teamwork, responsibility, and devotion among LEO members towards the club. The theme for this year’s event, ‘Hearts Vs Spades’, symbolises the relentless battle waged by warriors worldwide against the dreaded adversary of diabetes.  Diabetes, a chronic affliction characterised by high sugar levels in the bloodstream, is no ordinary foe. As we unite under this captivating emblem, we shine a spotlight on the valiant struggles of those grappling to stabilise their blood glucose levels and continue to live another day.
