Urban Escape 2017 - The Enigma

On the 25 th of February 2017, the Leo Club of Wesley Methodist School organised its annual funding project – its first ever Urban Escape, which is similar to the previous years’ Amazing Races. In order to win this event, the team that is able to earn the most points and solve the mystery will emerge as the winner of this event. The event started from 7.00 a.m. and ended at 1.30 p.m. The theme for this year’s Urban Escape was “The Enigma”, and involved a total of 119 teams consisting of 357 students of Wesley Methodist School Kuala Lumpur (International). The organising committee of this large scale funding project was led by The Funding Director of Leo Club of Wesley Methodist School, Leo Wong Hong Ming, who was also the Organising Chairperson. School Service 2017 - Motivational Posters

On the month of February 2017, the Leo Club organised and held an annual school service project. The purpose of this project was to encourage students to adopt a healthy eating lifestyle and good eating etiquette. It was organised by the Board of Directors of our club. Striking posters promoting awareness on healthy diets as well as having good etiquette, such as not wasting food, were prepared and laminated. On the 8 th of February 2017 (Wednesday), 3 Leo members were assigned to paste the posters on the pillars in the school canteen. At around 4 p.m., all the posters had been successfully put up and thus the project was complete. The simple project had been carried out well and smoothly. Through projects like these, we hope that we will be able to impact the students positively and that they will realise the importance of incorporating a healthy diet into their lifestyles as well as having good eating etiquette. Chinese New Year - Friendship Day Sales 2017

On the 6 th of February to the 8 th of February 2017, the Leo Club of Wesley Methodist School held their Friendship Day – Chinese New Year Sales. This sale was organised mainly by the juniors of the club. The organizing committee consisted of the organizing chairperson Leo Yap Ziyi, assistant organizing chairperson Leo Andrea Goh Ern-Rey, along with Leo Lim Jia Wen, Leo Chia Xin Zheng Alden, and Leo Tan Lik Wei. In conjunction with the sale, a photo booth and a pre-order badge sale were also held to attract the interests of the students. The objectives of this project were to raise the enthusiasm of students for the Chinese New Year occasion and to appreciate their friendships with one another, as well as to raise funds for the club's future activities. A duty list was prepared beforehand for the members to know their respective tasks and shifts for the food sale. Preparations started two weeks before the sale itself.
