SJK(C) Salak South Environmental Project 2021 (Part 1)

On the 13th March 2021, 5 of our members went on an environmental community service event organized by the Lions Club. It was a collective event between Lions and LEOs that would be held over a span of 5 weeks. After having breakfast with the Lions, we then departed to the school - SJK(C) Salak South. Firstly, we were briefed on simple gardening knowledge by Lion Angela. After that, we worked together and planted a plethora of vegetation such as Brazilian Spinach, Tomato, Papaya and so on. We were also given an opportunity to paint a mural in the school. For this first week, we managed to paint the foundation with white paint. All the members really worked hard and it was definitely an unforgettable experience.
