On the 28 th of May 2016, a group of 10 Leo members accompanied by 2 Leo faculty advisors visited the  pediatric  ward at Institut Jantung Negara to spend some time with the children there. There were about 7 children in total as most of the patients were under monitoring or have been discharged for the weekend. They were suffering from various heart complications or were post-operation children. The project took place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Before we started with our planned activities, we were given a tour around the ward to be familiarised with the area. We got to know the children as we went bed by bed to pay them a visit along with one of the nurses working there. During our visit, the members interacted with the children through some activities. Instead, we had a story telling session accompanied with a mini sketch, as well as an arts and c...
