Annual LEO Camp 2019 (OMNI-Roars)
The LEO Club of Wesley Methodist School had our annual LEO Camp from 3:45 p.m on the 15th November 2019, to 9:00 p.m. on the 16th November 2019. The main objectives of the event were to encourage the members to enjoy themselves and improve relations among all club members, especially between the senior and junior LEO members.
Participants gathered at the Wesley Hall at 3:45p.m and we started off the event with the opening ceremony. It was an honour to have Mr Wong Chee Kheon and Mr Amaranathan to grace the opening ceremony of our event. Mr Wong also gave a speech to encourage our LEO members. It was then followed by the icebreakers session which made the campers feel more energetic and allowed them to know their group members better. After that, we had dinner. This was followed by Mystery Night 1 from 8:30p.m to 10:30p.m.
The next day, we started off with morning exercises to hype up the campers and get them ready for the day. We then had breakfast which was followed by station games. At noon after our station games, we had our lunch. After that, we had water games followed by Mystery Night 2. We had dinner and there was a short sharing session afterwards where campers shared their thoughts and feelings towards the camp.
The closing ceremony started at 8:00 p.m and it was truly an honour to have the pleasure of hosting Lion Wee Chong Yian and Lion Eleesse, along with her husband, to grace the closing ceremony of our event. Lion Wee Chong Yian also delivered an inspiring speech to the participants. At 9:00 p.m, the participants were allowed to leave the event and return to their homes. Overall, the camp was a success and the LEO members were able to enjoy themselves as well as improve relations as a club.
