20th Annual Farewell: Hawaiian Luau

On the 31st July 2023, Monday, the LEO Club of Wesley Methodist School held its 20th Annual LEO Farewell event at Royal Lake Club in Taman Tasik Perdana to celebrate all the hard work, sweat, toil and tears the graduating LEO seniors have given to the club throughout their two years of service, as well as to say one last goodbye. The theme for this year’s event, ‘Hawaiian Luau’, depicts the break the seniors were going to take after their journey as LEO members of the LEO Club of Wesley Methodist School comes to an end. In this event, we hope to give the seniors the time off they deserve to relax and have fun in their final LEO event before they venture off onto the next chapter of their lives. 20th Annual Installation: Aeterna Sidera

On the 25th of July 2023, Wednesday, the LEO Club of Wesley Methodist School held its 20th Annual Installation at the Wesley Hall from 4.00p.m to 6.00p.m. This event was held to mark the official retirement of senior members after 2 years of service, and formally install the junior members and the Board of Directors. The theme for this year was ‘Aeterna Sidera’, which translates to ‘eternal stars’ in Latin. Like the countless stars that dot the night sky, each and every one of the LEO members fill the void of blue and black with their own unique stories. Coming together as one, they form a constellation that shines brighter than ever before, symbolizing the new and unified LEO club. This theme aims to encourage all LEO members to come together and reunite as one, as we strive together to reach even greater heights for the club in the upcoming fiscal year. Urban Escape 2022: Revelation

On the 21st May 2022, the LEO Club of Wesley Methodist School organized its annual funding event - Urban Escape 2022, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Urban Escape 2022 was presented to the school this year with the theme “Revelation” which was inspired by our storyline this year, uncovering the secrets of the past. This large-scaled funding event was led by the Organizing Chairperson, LEO Poh Wei Jian, who was assisted by his two Assistant Organizing Chairpersons, LEO Hau Shen Ny and LEO Lim Chen Yang, together with the committee members, LEO Amber Ong Sze Qi, LEO Yap Zi Hao, and LEO Allyson Tan. Virtual Cancer Run 2022: Hakuna Matata

  From the 24th January to the 28th January, the LEO Club of Wesley Methodist School organized an event themed "Hakuna Matata". This event was an online virtual run, held to spread awareness to the public regarding childhood cancer through the virtual run. Our theme description, “Hakuna Matata” is a phrase in Swahili meaning “no worries”. Through this theme, we hope to allow all the participants to run free from their worries and shackles and keep fit at the same time. It also represents our wish to allow the unfortunate children who have contracted cancer to experience a life with no worries.   There were approximately 189 students and teachers that took part in this event. Participants were required to record the number of steps they took each day across the duration of the event and submit the total number of steps they took at the end of the event. Virtual LEO Camp 2022: Auroara

  The LEO Club of Wesley Methodist School had our annual LEO Camp from 5.00 p.m to 10.05 p.m on the 21st January 2022. The main objectives of the event were to encourage the members to enjoy themselves and improve relations among all club members, especially between the senior and junior LEO members.  The theme of the camp was Auroara. The word ‘Auroara’ originates from the word ‘Aurora’ which means ‘dawn’ in Latin. This depicts the rise of new beginnings in this fiscal year and signifies growth. Through this theme, the camp aims to unite club members and inspire them as they grow together in their LEO journey. At 5.00 p.m. on Friday, participants gathered together on Microsoft Teams in their respective teams, and we started the event with the opening ceremony. Minor Funding Event: Shishi no houkou

On the 6th November 2021,  the LEO Club of Wesley Methodist School held their minor funding project for the fiscal year 2021/2022 from 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. This event uses an online carnival concept with Japanese-themed games and movies for the participants to freely move about in the server and enjoy themselves. The theme of the event was “Shishi no houkou” which means the phrase “Roar of the Lion'' in Japanese. It also symbolises strength and liveliness. Besides that, we want this event to have a festive atmosphere, which will help students to relax and enjoy themselves in our event. Virtual Orientation Day 2021

  On the 18th September 2021, Saturday, the LEO Club of Wesley Methodist School had their Virtual Annual Orientation Day from 10.00 a.m. to 11.40 a.m. The objective of this orientation was to allow the newly recruited LEO members to have a deeper understanding of the LEO Club. It was also organized to create a positive impression on the new members regarding the LEO Club and to instill a sense of belonging in them towards the club. This event was led by the Organizing Chairperson, LEO Lim Yi Hang along with the Assistant Organizing Chairperson, LEO Chai Tse Lei.  Our beloved speakers, LEO Qiao En and LEO Megan! 18th Annual Farewell: Once Upon A Roar

On the 1st September 2021, the LEO Club of Wesley Methodist School held its 18th Annual Farewell virtually on Zoom from 2.15 p.m. to 5.15 p.m. The farewell was themed ‘Once Upon A Roar’. The theme ‘Once Upon A Roar’ depicts the memories created by the seniors throughout their journey as LEO members of the LEO Club of Wesley Methodist School. The theme was derived from the iconic phrase 'once upon a time', which is usually used in fairy tales to signify the beginning of a story. In this context, we will be reminiscing about the dedication of our senior LEOs since the start of their fiscal year and concluding it all with the end of our farewell. The seniors had encountered hardships to ensure that we, the junior LEO members, enjoyed our time in the club. Through this theme, we hope that the seniors will carry along the LEO pride and persevere on their voyage with much spirit and enthusiasm as they begin a brand new chapter in their lives.   On the 25th August 2021, the LEO Club of Wesley Methodist School held its 18th Annual Installation via Zoom from 4.00p.m - 5.40p.m. The installation was themed “Phi-LEO-Timo”.The word “Phi-LEO-Timo” originates from the Greek word “philotimo”. This word conveys a variety of values that can and should be seen in a LEO member. Through this theme, we hope to nurture the seeds of honour, courage, pride and integrity in the hearts of our members and let it be an inspiration to the members as they face the new dawning fiscal year. This event was led by the Organizing Chairperson, LEO Quay Ding Rong who was assisted by his Assisting Organizing Chairperson, LEO Chung Han Jer together with the committee members, LEO Lim Yi Hang, LEO Lai Yin Shuen and LEO Wong Zixin.
